Since 1985 – Named After Mount Kinabalu
Standing proud like the mountain it is named after, Kolej Kediaman Kinabalu (KK8) has been a cornerstone of student life at Universiti Malaya.
Kolej Kediaman Kinabalu (KK8) is the 8th Residential College at Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. Much like Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountain in South East Asia, the college stands proudly on campus. Construction was completed in 1985, and the grand opening ceremony was held on 18 December 1987. Today it is home to thousands of UM students.
